Discover Indonesia is an independent publisher of travel and nature guidebooks about Indonesia. This website, discoverindonesia.co, and the ebooks sold through it are operated by Discover Indonesia. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we sell
We sell ready-made digital guidebooks (ebooks) in EPUB and PDF format. Every ebook is a finished product: we do not sell consultations, custom research, trip planning or any other service.
Printed editions of our guides are sold by third-party retailers such as Amazon, Apple Books and Kobo. Those purchases are governed by the retailer's own terms and policies, not by these terms.
Payment and our reseller
Ebook orders on this website are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT for your order, and its own terms and privacy policy also apply to the purchase. Prices are shown before checkout, including any applicable tax.
Delivery
After payment you receive an instant download link by email and on the confirmation page. Please keep a copy of your files. If a download link does not work or a file is damaged, email us and we will send a working copy.
Your licence
When you buy an ebook you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it on your own devices and to print pages for your own use, for example to take on a trip.
You may not resell, share, upload, distribute or publish the ebook or any part of it, or remove copyright notices. All text, maps, photographs and designs remain the property of Discover Indonesia or their respective owners.
Accuracy and safety
We research and fact-check our guides carefully, but travel information changes: park rules, fees, transport schedules, volcanic activity and opening times can change without notice. Always check current conditions with official sources and local operators before you travel.
Our guides are for information only. Activities such as volcano trekking, diving and boat travel carry real risks, and you take part in them at your own responsibility. Nothing in our guides replaces the advice of guides, rangers, dive professionals, doctors or the authorities.
Refunds
Ebooks can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. See our Refund Policy for details.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Discover Indonesia is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use of our guides or this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. If a translated version of this page differs from the English version, the English version applies.
